Summary: U.S. News and World Report ranked Colorado State 56th among public doctoral universities in its 2005 "Best Colleges" edition. The Veterinary Medicine Program (DVM) is ranked 2nd in the nation. Occupational Therapy and Vocational Education are both top ten programs.
Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine has ranked Colorado State 27th for quality education and affordability in their annual 100 Best Values in Public Colleges rankings.
Templeton Foundation listed CSU as a top character building institution.
With $101.4 million and $101.3 million in 2001 and 2002 respectively, CSU ranks second in research funding brought in compared to its internal peer institutions and seventh compared to CCHE peer institutions.
